Woo Myung’s Calligraphy, Drawings, and Songs
Woo Myung is an author, a poet, a composer, a calligrapher, and an illustrator. There is one purpose to all of these works, which is to help people more easily learn the principles of the world and understand the method to become Truth. Woo Myung does not stop at giving talks and guiding meditation sessions. He has written poems of enlightenment, put those words to music to transform them to songs which he then sang himself for the recording. He also wrote poems in calligraphy. The poems, songs, and calligraphy are not edited or drafted but written, painted, or composed in one sitting.

Woo Myung began to write calligraphy in 1996 when he started teaching Truth. He has produced more than 40,000 pieces of calligraphic writings since that time. He often writes numerous pieces in a session, with the hope that they will help people awaken from their dreaming. They are not first composed as poetry, to be later written in calligraphic writing, but simultaneously composed and written down; the poetry forming as the brush moves across the paper.
His calligraphy has the fluidity of water but is dynamic at the same time. Calligraphy experts and enthusiasts have praised his works as “possessing an inimitable uniqueness which does not belong to any existing school of work.” A portion of his work can be seen hanging in the walls of centers world-wide.
일체가 하나 자체라. 수만가지가 또 하나라. 참나라 다시 나 산다.
Everything is one and countless things are one. I am reborn in the True world and live.
사람 속에 우주가 있다 는 사람이 우주마음 될 때라.
The universe exists within human when human becomes the universe mind.
이룬 자가 완성자라. 본바닥 난 자는 이룬 완성자라.
One who has accomplished is a complete person.
One who is born in the original Foundation is an accomplished complete person.
있음이란 본바닥에 있는 것이 있고 산 것이다.
Existence in to exist in the Original Foundation and is one that lives.
없는 것을 있게 하는 것이 도다. 세상에 없으면 없는 것이라.
Allowing what does not exist to exist is Truth. If it does not exist in the world, then it does not exist.
